​Modern attacks are getting more sophisticated, and Enterprises are expanding their network from traditional SDDC to multi-cloud. Covid-19 is now making the network more complex with distributed workloads and a workforce which is vulnerable to cyber-attacks, Lateral Movement and Data Exfiltration. In this talk, we will showcase NDR from NSX and EDR from Carbon Black to counteract an attack from end-point to an SDDC or the Public Cloud. ​EDR: VMware Carbon Black - Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) can help identify unknown threats in real-time by using a behavioral analysis coupled with VMware NSX. With this, EDR can detect and report potential malicious activities. And, by correlating timelines and using advanced algorithms, EDR helps security teams work backward to determine likely breach points. NDR: VMware NSX Firewall defense in-depth how NSX ATP Advanced Threat Protection (NDR, NTA, micro-segmentation DFW, IDS, IPS).
